The new 300 Series Landcruiser features an Electronic Handbrake, which is a fantastic upgrade and one Landcruiser owners for decades have desired, however the actuators are in a plastic housing leaving them vulnerable to damage when being used off-road. We identified this early on and as such have developed a 316 stainless steel cover the handbrake actuators.
After the development during trial fitting we came to discover Toyota had also identified this as a potential issue and added a tin cover over the actuators on the GR Sport variant. Our stainless-steel covers are significantly tougher than the OE version.
Our LC300 Handbrake actuator protection covers are easily fitted, being a direct bolt on only taking a couple of minutes & requiring zero modifications to the vehicle.
Please note Pinnacle 4x4 recommends removal of the covers post trip and from time to time to clean out any build up of debris inside the cover as a maintenance item.
